Prologue to Secret Invasion: Metamorphoses
Herc and Cho are on the road with Athena when she brings them to a Celestial towering over the city of San Francisco. As our heroes investigate, Hercules is confronted by the Eternals Ikaris and Thena who insist he is their old comrade Gilgamesh. Herc insists that he isn’t Gilgamesh and a battle ensues. Things get straightened out when Makkari admits that he misunderstood the Dreaming Celestial and Herc is not, in fact, their fellow Eternal. Athena brings Hercules to the council elite of the divine pantheons of Earth to discuss the coming Skrull war.
