The Deluge Act Two
Aquaman convinces the Justice League that Atlantis is being framed by N.E.M.O. for the attacks on the US, and asks the League to go to the White House to ask the US for a cease-fire against Atlantis. Commander Stubbs, commanding a N.E.M.O. ship disguised as a US ship, leads an attack on Atlantis. Aquaman fights the N.E.M.O. ship but fails to capture any crew members alive to confess to N.E.M.O.’s involvement. Without proof of a third party behind the attacks, the US rejects the cease-fire option and orders the Aqua-Marines to Atlantis on a mission to assassinate Aquaman.
